The big change that inspired Nick Thune's new comedy special

Since Nick Thune’s last special debuted on Netflix, a lot has changed. Most notably: The comedian had a kid.

“It changes your life obviously because you don’t sleep as much and you have some maniac that lives in your house,” he told Mashable. “It made life more important to me, and changed my perspective on the world.”

The new life mentality helped shape and inspire his new special Nick Thune: Good Guy, which debuted on NBC’s Seeso platform on Thursday.

“I think a lot of people go through this when they find out they are going to have a kid,” Thune said. “They decide, ‘Man I can’t make the same shitty choices all the time how do I minimize all those experiences I have been having?’ I think this came through in this special.
