Tesco shaves price of women's razors so they no longer pay more than men

British supermarket Tesco is taking steps to eliminate gender-differentiated pricing on products sold in its stores, by cutting the price of women’s standard razors to equal that of similar men’s products.

After all, men and women both shave, so why should women have to pay more for their razors? 

Though to some the store’s latest step towards gender equality may seem small, a 2016 investigation by The Times found that high street stores in the UK were charging women twice as much as men for items like razors, simply because of their pink coloring.

Does that seem fair?
