Rebecca Ferguson says she’ll sing at Trump's inauguration…under one condition

Donald Trump is in quite the political pickle.

Jan. 20 is fast approaching and the president-elect is still having trouble finding celebrities who want to perform at his inauguration.

Well have no fear, Donald — British singer and X Factor alum, Rebecca Ferguson, has agreed to perform on your big day…as long as you approve her song choice, that is.

On Monday, Ferguson revealed on Twitter that she had been asked to perform at the upcoming presidential event and publicly gave her response.

Rather than flat out deny the invitation like Sir Elton John did, the singer said she would perform, provided she be allowed to sing “Strange Fruit,” a famous protest song which came from a Abel Meeropol poem. Read more…
