As the polar vortex brought frigid conditions down into the middle of America, so, too, did it bring extremely cold temperatures to a pair of NFL games that had players and fans alike bundled up.

In Kansas City, Missouri, where the Chiefs were hosting the Tennessee Titans, the mercury dipped to a meager 1 degree Fahrenheit at kickoff with a -9-degree wind chill. That is reportedly a record for the coldest regular season Chiefs home game since records were kept.

Temperature officially at 1 degree. -9 wind chill for kickoff#Titans #Chiefs
