George R.R. Martin wants this 'wretched year' to end

A parody George R.R. Martin account tweeted back in January: “2016 was directed by me,” and pretty much everyone agreed. 

Now, the real George R.R. Martin posted an entry on his LiveJournal blog, mourning the recent death of Carrie Fisher, and generally wanting this horrible, bad, no good year to be done with. 

“There is not much I can say about the death of Carrie Fisher that a thousand other people have not said already.”

“She was way too young. A bright, beautiful, talented actress, and a strong, witty, outspoken woman. Princess Leia will live as long as Star Wars does, probably forever,” the writer wrote Tuesday.   Read more…
