Aleppo activists post heartbreaking goodbye messages on Twitter

Activists trapped inside embattled east Aleppo have taken to Twitter to send heartbreaking “goodbye” messages as the Syrian government’s forces close in. 

Among them is Bana Alabed, a 7-year-old girl who in the past months, with the help of her mother Fatemah, has documented with the handle @AlabedBana the grim situation in the besieged Syrian city:

My name is Bana, I’m 7 years old. I am talking to the world now live from East #Aleppo. This is my last moment to either live or die. – Bana
