Amazon Great Republic Day Sale: Discounts on smartphones and electronics
Amazon has announced its first sale of the year. The three-day-long event – Amazon Great Republic Day will start on January 17 and will end on January 20.
As always, the company is expected to offer loads of offers, discounts and benefits – including easy returns, free delivery on first order and pay on delivery and more during the sale period.
Though we still do not have exact information about the offers that the company will come up with, however, what we know is that the e-commerce platform will offer exciting deals on products like smartphones, electronics, gadgets, home & kitchen, large appliances, daily essentials and more.
Early access to the sale for Prime Members
It goes without saying that, Prime Members will stand to get some extra benefits. This includes early access to the sale – the Santa comes in early and the sale starts 24 hours early for Prime Members.
As a Prime Member, you also get free deliveries, access to Prime Video and Prime Music. If you’re not a prime member already, you can get the membership by clicking the banner below. You can even get a monthly membership for Rs. 179 per month while the yearly membership is pegged at Rs. 1,499.
Amazon Great Republic Day Sale : General offer
During the sale, SBI credit card users can avail of a 10% instant discount across all the categories. The minimum cart value to avail of this offer should be Rs 5,000. And, the maximum discount will be capped for Rs 1,500.
Apart from the card offers there’s also exchange offers, no-cost EMI discounts, and total damage control. Just like the previous sales, we also expect some products to get instant coupon offers as well.
New product launches
Amazon says that over 80 new products will be announced during the launch period. We know that the OnePlus Buds Z2 and the OnePlus 9RT will launch on January 14 evening and might start retailing during the sale period.
Aside, we might see products like Tecno Pop 5, Asus VivoBook 10 Pro and GoPro Hero 10 bundle being introduced during the Amazon Great Republic Day sale period.
Best time to buy new phones
Apart from the new launches mentioned above, it might be the perfect time to purchase a new phone as various phones will be available to purchase with a discount of up to 40 per cent. Additionally, Amazon will be offering deals on smartphone accessories starting at Rs. 69.
Deals on TVs and home appliances
Amazon will offer up to 50 per cent on TVs and large appliances including refrigerators, TVs, Washing Machines and more. During this sale, TVs will be available at up to 60 per cent discount while refrigerators will be available starting at Rs. 6,990.
Additional offers will include No cost EMI for up to 24 months making it easier for the users to upgrade or purchase a new product for their homes.
Up to 50 per cent off on smart home products
Smart home products – including smart speakers, smart displays and Fire TV devices will be up for grabs at an almost 50 per cent discount. Kindle ebook readers will be available at up to Rs. 3,400 discount.
